Sensory Integration and Praxis Test
The Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT) is the only standardized tool used to identify difficulties in the areas of sensory processing and function. Results are used to tailor treatment techniques specific to the child’s needs and to identify areas of strength. The SIPT is designed for children between the ages of 4.0 years-8 years 11 months who have complex learning challenges or demonstrate mild to moderate difficulty with function in home, school, and/or community settings. The test itself contains 17 different standardized subtests. It is usually administered in 1-2 sessions often totaling 4-5 hours of testing procedures.
