Individual Occupational Therapy
What is occupational therapy?
Occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to perform their “jobs” of playing, going to school and participating in daily living activities (such as eating, sleeping, bathing, tooth-brushing, grooming and dressing).
At ICC, we create treatment programs using innovative techniques and strategies that address the specific needs of the child and the goals of the family. We not only provide support to the child during the therapy sessions, but more importantly develop and support workable strategies for the family/school that can be incorporated into the child’s daily life.
