Birth to Three Program
Parental Cost Share
The state made administrative rule changes in 1997 which require counties to assess parents for cost share for specific early intervention Birth to Three services. This cost share system is based on the Family Support cost share model. Dane County implemented a cost share for Birth to Three services effective January1, 1998. Dane County is administratively responsible for assessing and collecting the parental ability to pay.
